On the topic of pruning trees: North Americans seem to favour the French school, at least the older versions of it.
Have you come across the Swiss/German way of pruning, too? Would you be able to read a book on it, now that your German is improving π ?
I’d love any suggestions you can throw at me. Pruning is the great mystery, to me. Especially because every tree cultivar grows differently and then there is rootstock influence on growth patterns as well. Let me know any suggestions! I’d love to delve into it!
